The new classic looks very much like the style icons from the 70s like Bianca Jagger and Diane Keaton who wore crisp basics accessorized by big & bold jewelry. The focal point should always be the jewelry and it should never have to compete with anything else you are wearing. Clothing should be kept neutral and simple as if it is the back drop to showcase the jewelry. Then you will know you have it right.
