I just had to give Gareth Pugh the Fashion Police Citation for one of the most hideous outfits I have seen thrust down a runway in many a year. This costume would never work on so many levels. First, any poor girl unlucky enough to wear this monstrosity would look like an old painting hanging in an equally old gallery. Secondly, this thing is impractical. However would one eat, fix your hair, walk through a door, or face friends in this mixture of an Elizabethan painting and a Stormtrooper? What was Mr. Pugh smoking when he dreamed up this one? Woof! Yes, there is Avant Garde. Then you cross the line and it becomes I was on crack when I created this one! Oui, Monsieur Pugh?

How funny, I just posted about Pugh not realising you had already done so - and we both described his designs as Elizabethan/Storm Trooper - glad the verdict is unanimous! Ha ha
